Who we are
WristPrompt is made and operated by its developer (“we”). Contact: i2p30mk+wristprompt@gmail.com.
Not affiliated with OpenAI
WristPrompt is an independent app. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI. ChatGPT and OpenAI are names of their owners and are used here only to say which service the app connects to.
You bring your own access
- WristPrompt sends your questions to OpenAI using your own ChatGPT plan or your own OpenAI API key. You need one of them.
- Plan use follows OpenAI's rules and limits for your plan. WristPrompt does not control them.
- API use is billed by OpenAI to your API account. WristPrompt does not charge for it and does not see your invoices.
- A plan limit never switches to API billing on its own. You choose the connection for every conversation.
- Pressing Retry may use your plan limit or your API funds again. Pressing Stop does not guarantee that nothing is charged for a request already sent.
Requirements
An iPhone with an Apple Watch paired to it, an internet connection on the iPhone, and either a ChatGPT plan or API access. The iPhone must be reachable from the watch for a question to be sent.
What we do not promise
- Answers can be wrong. Check anything that matters.
- WristPrompt does not behave identically to ChatGPT in the browser or in OpenAI's apps.
- The available models come from your own account and can change or disappear.
- The service depends on OpenAI and on your connection. We cannot promise it is always available.
Price
The app is free. There are no purchases, subscriptions or ads in it.
Warranty and liability
